Peer Specialist Supervisor Training
The Texas Peer Support Supervisor (PSS) Training is a 12-hour professional certification course. It is designed for experienced peer professionals and qualified clinicians who want to become state-certified to supervise peer specialists. This training covers best practices in peer workforce supervision, including how to mentor, support, and evaluate peer specialists in professional settings. Completion of this training is required to serve as an authorized supervisor who can oversee and sign off on the 250 internship hours required for initial peer specialist certification.
