Certification Training Vouchers

PeerHubTX partners with TCB-approved Texas training entities to offer vouchers to individuals seeking peer specialist certification (either MHPS or RSPS) for the first time.

Covers up to $125 for:

Core Training

Covers up to $500 for:

Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) Supplemental Training

Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS) Supplemental Training

Supplemental Training Voucher Eligibility Requirements:

Completed Peer Specialist Core Training.

Does not hold a full or initial MHPS, RSPS, PSS, or CFP certification.

TCB State Application Voucher

PeerHubTX State Application Vouchers cover the cost of TCB’s required applications through their online certification management platform, Certemy.

Covers up to $65 for:

Certemy application processing fee

Eligibility Requirements:

Completed MHPS or RSPS Supplemental Training.

Does not hold a full or initial MHPS, RSPS, PSS, or CFP certification.

Supervision Vouchers

To complete the full certification for MHPS or RSPS, peer specialists are required to document 250 hours of work experience supervised by a Peer Specialist Supervisor (PSS). Qualified individuals can apply for a voucher to help cover the cost of supervision.

Covers up to $400 for:

Cost of Supervision from a PSS

Eligibility Requirements:

Completed MHPS or RSPS Supplemental Training and received their initial Certification from TCB.

Does not hold a full or initial MHPS, RSPS, PSS, or CFP certification.

Does not have access to a PSS through their employer or volunteer organization.

Has completed the initial application in Certemy and has received approval from TCB to begin logging supervised work experience hours.
